OUR PHILOSOPHY

Tutu Ballet Academy offers unique ballet classes for children that taps into their creative learning process. This improved teaching approach to ballet is creative inspiring and fun. When a child is inspired, success and learning is sure to follow. We believe that children have an unlimited capacity for learning if we only change our approach to be developmentally appropriate. As teachers we are placed in a tremendous amount of responsibility to not only educate but to nurture. Its important to us that families feel safe and trust us here at Tutu Ballet Academy. We want them to feel connected to us as their child grows at our school and they become part of the Tutu Ballet Academy family. The Art of Ballet paired with timeless classical music remains the same! what is different in Tutu Ballet Academy is the approach on how we introduce ballet to young children. It should not be intimidating, instead fun, inviting and most of all child friendly.
Tutu Ballet Academy acknowledges ballerinas progress with medals, trophies & certificates from taking the Royal Academy of Dance Performance Awards Program yearly. This program builds their self esteem and the beautiful awards displayed in their homes give them something tangible to collect and be proud of for their accomplishments.
Our Tutu Ballet Academy senior program continues advanced ballet training and awards for teenagers. . We also integrate elements of Russian Vaganova training from age 12- advanced to give our company dancers an edge in competitions and local performances. For recreation ballerinas can also enjoy Tutu Camps & Tutu Tea Parties for school holidays and birthdays. In addition to that we offer a wide variety of dance classes including hip hop, Jazz, tumbling, musical theatre, Adult ballet, Irish dancing & Boys only ballet.

WHY BALLET

Ballet is the foundation of all forms of dance. It starts with little fairy ballerinas and ends with dancing on your toes…. Trying to make a dancer without first taking proper ballet classes is like cooking a cake without the milk and eggs…. It will be an uphill struggle.

TUTU Ballet Academy LLC is registered and licensed through The Royal Academy of Dance in London. This organization is the largest examining body in the world. It has over 12,000 members and operates in 79 countries. The RAD is now educating and training over 1,000 trainee teachers and offering examinations to 230,000 young people every year. Beware of imitators, only RAD licensed teachers & schools may participate in the examination process.
